The Scotts® Turf Builder® Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix is designed to help you get the lush, green lawn you desire. This revolutionary product combines grass seed and fertilizer in a single, effective formula, delivering extended feeding that results in thick, vibrant grass growth.

Compared to seed alone, your lawn will grow up to 2 times faster when you use this mix (when applied at the new lawn rate, subject to proper care). The Tall Fescue blend ensures that your lawn will be covered in a rich, green carpet of grass in just a matter of weeks.

This versatile product can be used on both new lawns and for overseeding existing grass. For optimal results, apply the Scotts® Turf Builder® Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix during the spring or fall when air temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 80°F.

To ensure even application, we recommend using a Scotts® spreader and following the settings provided on the product label. It's important to note that you should not use any weed control products until your lawn has been mowed at least 4 times.

Throughout the growing season, be sure to apply Scotts® Lawn Food products every 8 weeks to help maintain the thick, lush appearance of your lawn. One 5.6 lb. bag of the Scotts® Turf Builder® Rapid Grass Tall Fescue Mix can cover up to 615 sq. ft. for new lawns or 1,845 sq. ft. for overseeding.
