Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix

Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® is designed for a variety of conditions and features Root-Building Nutrition for a stronger lawn. This grass seed mix is specifically crafted to help establish deep roots, allowing you to grow thick, green turf and build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up. It is suitable for full sun and dense shade, and offers medium drought resistance with medium to high durability. Whether you are seeding a new lawn or overseeding an existing one, this product is an excellent choice.

For best results, we recommend applying Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures consistently range from 55°F to 70°F, or when air temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F. To apply this product, we suggest using a Scotts® spreader and following the spreader settings on the product label. Water the seeded area daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach a height of at least 2 inches.

Each 2.4 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® covers 320 sq. ft. for a new lawn and 960 sq. ft. for overseeding.
