Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Lawn Food is a fertilizer specifically formulated for Southern lawns. It includes Scotts® All-in-One Particles® that build strong, deep grass roots to protect against heat and drought. This lawn care product is safe to use on Southern grass types. One 14.06 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Lawn Food covers an area of 5,000 sq. ft.

Applying Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Lawn Food to a wet or dry lawn during the growing season is recommended. For best results, use a Scotts® spreader to apply the product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ½, and for Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. While lightly watering the product in after application can provide faster results, it is not required.

Unused product should be returned to the original container, and any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street should be swept back onto the lawn. It is important to avoid applying this product to warm-season grass types within 1 month of the first expected frost.
