Liquid Harvest Mesotrione is a herbicide that controls weeds in lawns and turf grass. It starts working immediately but can take up to 2-3 weeks for full weed death. The product is effective on a large variety of problematic weeds, including Barnyard grass, Carpetweed, Chickweed, Clover, Crabgrass, and Dandelion. It must be activated by water, and if no rainfall occurs within 10 days of application, the area should be watered with 0.15 inches of water.

Mesotrione prevents photosynthesis in plants, distributing throughout the plant via roots and leaves. It is an effective herbicide for preventing crabgrass seed germination and eliminating broadleaf weeds on contact, encouraging the growth of certain cool-season turfgrass in a weed-free environment.
