The redesigned Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sunny Mix thrives in direct sun and features Root-Building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that is expertly crafted to help establish deep roots to grow thick, green turf so that you can build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up. This grass seed mix is designed for full sun and light shade, and has medium to high drought resistance with medium to high durability. The Root-Building Nutrition formula combines seed, fertilizer, and soil improver to help establish deep roots, allowing you to build a strong, green lawn.

This lawn care product can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F or air temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Water daily or as needed to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
